  2. Who would have thunk ice?

    Oh, of course, you JKM.

The Cult TV Faces of Ice.

    Inspired stuff.

Honestly, I never really considered just how important ice has been in the world of science fiction.

In fact, you could add episodes of Stargate SG-1 and many more I'm sure.

    WOW. Nicely done my friend.

    Tough one!

#s 2 & 3 have an original Trek vibe to me but beyond that - Not sure.

#4 would be Adam West's Batman in his weekly peril, this time icy.

    #8 is a flash-frozen Buck Rogers.

#9 ... Trek. Next Gen. Maybe a freeze-dried Tasha Yar? Not positive.

  4. Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for checking out these "cool" ice images. :)

Meredith: Yes, absolutely. You recognized the imag from Space:1999's "Force of Life." Ever notice how the name Zoref is an anagram for the word "froze?"

SFF: Than you for the kind words, my friend. For some reason, I can't post your second comment that you submitted -- I don't know what I did!:) But you mentioned in that message Battlestar Galactica and "Gun on Ice Planet Zero." That one certainly would have been good to include (slipped my mind!)

And woodchuckgod: You correctly id'd all of those. The Star Trek frames are from "the Naked Time" and "The Enemy Within," respectively. You also accurately saw Batman as a giant tastyfreeze, and Buck Rogers, from the first episode. And # 9 is Next Gen and Tasha Yar (from the opening of "Encounter at Farpoint.")

    Great job all!

    best,
    JKM

Happy LV 426 Day! The Return of Alien (1979)

It is quite difficult to believe, but in 2024, Ridley Scott’s  Alien  (1979) turns 45 years old.  Perhaps the most amazing thing about  Alie...
